TEED UP: The Clean Energy Drink That Actually Makes Sense for Golfers

After testing TEED UP during a couple of late-afternoon sim sessions, I can confidently say this drink isn’t hype, it’s a legit on-course advantage!

I’ve tried just about everything you can drink on a golf course...sports drinks that taste like liquid sugar, energy drinks that make my hands shake, and beers that turn the back nine into a slow-motion endurance test. So when I got my hands on TEED UP, the new “clean energy drink for golfers,” I was intrigued, but skeptical.

Turns out, this thing is different. In a very, VERY good way.

The first thing I noticed? TEED UP doesn’t smack you in the face with that artificial energy drink vibe. No neon colours. No candy-sweet aftertaste. It tastes clean, crisp, and honestly refreshing, with flavors that actually quench on a hot day.

Flavour aside, the big test was performance. And here’s where TEED UP quietly flexes. The caffeine is natural and low at 70mg, pulled from green tea instead of synthetic boosters. Paired with L-theanine, it gives you this smooth, controlled focus. Not wired. Not drowsy. Just dialed in.

The second round I tried it, I realized something at about hole 13....I wasn’t fading. You know that mid-round slump where your swing tempo wobbles and every decision feels like it takes too much brainpower? Didn’t happen. My energy stayed level, and my mind stayed sharp.

A lot of that comes from what’s actually in the can, something I didn’t fully appreciate until I read the label. Electrolytes for hydration. Taurine, L-arginine, L-tyrosine, and Schisandra extract for cognitive and physical endurance.  No I don't know what they are, but yes, they work!  All that and only 2 grams of natural sugar, none of that artificial junk. It’s like someone designed a drink specifically for that moment on the back nine when things usually fall apart.

I tried all three flavours, and here’s my quick take on each one:

  1. Lemonade Iced Tea tastes like an Arnold Palmer that hit the gym and got its life together.

  2. Mint Lime is the summer hero - crisp, light, and instantly refreshing.

  3. Transfusion is bold and fun, like ordering the clubhouse classic without the sugar bomb.

The best part? TEED UP was created by an actual golfer, founder John P.  You can tell this wasn’t made in a boardroom, it was made by someone who plays the game and wanted something that actually enhances it.

Final verdict?
TEED UP doesn’t promise superpowers. It just delivers steady energy, clearer focus, and hydration that actually keeps up with the modern game.  And tastes great!
