New Product Release/Buyers Guide:

Meet the Vice Zero Twist (ZT) Putter Lineup

INTRODUCING VICE GOLF’S NEW PUTTER TRIO: ZERO TWIST, ZERO NONSENSE.  Vice Golf just dropped three new putters that take face stability seriously, and they do it without turning modern putter tech into a luxury item.

If you’ve followed Vice Golf over the years, you know their story tends to start with a simple question: Why does great gear need to cost a fortune?

In 2012, they asked it about golf balls and shook up the market. Now, with premium putters regularly creeping over the $500 mark, they’re asking it again, this time with a full lineup built around one idea: stability should be attainable.

That brings us to the new VGP03, VGP03ZT and VGP04ZT putters, three distinct models built around something Vice calls Zero Twist technology. The idea is straightforward: align the shaft axis through the true center of mass so the head naturally resists rotation. When the head isn’t wobbling or drifting open, start lines get cleaner, mishits behave better, and the putter simply feels more predictable through the stroke.

But this release is less about buzzwords and more about giving everyday golfers access to performance benefits that, until now, have lived in the high-end corner of the market.

The Lineup: Three Shapes, Three Player Types

VGP03 - The Traditional Blade
For golfers who prefer a natural toe flow and an arcing stroke, the VGP03 is Vice’s clean, classic answer. It sits flat, feels soft off the face, and has a touch more heft than many traditional blades, giving it a stable footprint without changing the profile players love. There’s no insert here, just a surprisingly soft impact feel and that slight “pop” that helps get putts to the hole.

VGP03ZT - The Zero Twist Blade
Take the VGP03 shape, add a uniquely curved hosel that points the shaft axis directly through the center of gravity, and you get the VGP03ZT. It’s built for players who want the look of a blade but the face-stability of the emerging no-twist category. That blend of traditional shape and modern alignment is something golfers have been asking for, and this model feels like Vice’s most interesting balance of the two.

VGP04ZT – The Zero Twist Mallet
If stability is your priority, this is the head-turner. The VGP04ZT is a fang-style mallet with a center-shafted, onset design that allows for a more forward, intuitive alignment aid. Early testers have already called it the easiest to aim in the lineup. The wings add both stability and visual confidence, and the zero-twist setup keeps the head locked square through the stroke. It’s different, but in a way that immediately makes sense once you set it down.

Why This Matters

Zero-twist (or zero-torque) putters have exploded over the past 18 months, but the category has largely remained expensive and limited in styles. Vice’s move does two important things: It makes true face-stable putters accessible to more golfers; and It brings fresh, modern design to a category that hasn’t exactly been known for visual flair.

In other words, this release is bigger than just “three new putters.” It’s Vice expanding its footprint into a fast-growing category while sticking to the DNA that made the brand popular in the first place.
